Project Summary: This was a very challenging install for a few reasons: 1. Tight working conditions on a very busy Center Street leading into downtown Wolfeboro. 2. Limited staging areas for materials and backfill material. However, at the end of the project, I believe we achieved what the customer was looking for. An attractive, low maintenance landscape with the addition of colorful shrubs and perennials. With several flowering shrubs and vibrant perennials, this landscape should be a head turner during the busy summer months in the "Oldest Summer Resort in America"! The curved stairs in this design have become a very popular choice in our walls. In this instance, they provide a focal a great focal point, leading the eye to the entry of this classic 1800's home. In keeping with the classic feel of this property, we decided to keep the legacy lilacs that frame the house, and give them a thorough selective pruning for improved health and visual value in the coming years. We hope to return to complete the landscape plantings on the opposite side of the driveway, where we also installed a small wall.
