Project Summary: This is another great example of a landscape that had simply gone a little too long without attention. The goal of this project was to renovate the existing landscape, and add some new plantings to improve the aesthetics. This mostly shade garden already had a great base of perennials including hosta, bleeding heart, astilbe, lilly of the valley, phlox and sedum. We separated and reused almost everything in place, then added perennials, azaleas and vibernum. New bed edges were cut on the lower portion of the garden, adjacent to the walkway. This created definition and character between the garden beds and lawn area.
