Project Summary:
The American Home Gallery in Wolfeboro, NH has been improving their landscape on a yearly basis. In 2004, enormous strides were taken to improve the curb appeal of the entry.
A weed infested slope was landscaped with the addition of several boulders. The boulders were installed to serve two purposes: 1. Provide a landscape with natural and antique style that a lawn or block retaining wall could not accomplish. 2. Stabilize the slope and provide pockets for plantings. Several perennials were installed to provide color summer through fall, including shasta daisies, black-eyed susan, delphinium, phlox, Jacob's Ladder, sedum, hen's & chick's, columbine, and others. A shrub assortment of juniper, cypress, azalea, and barberry provide year round interest. Congratulations to Julie Fergus and the American Home Gallery for receiving the Greater Wolfeboro Chamber of Commerce 2004 "Beautification Award" for this landscape.
