Lawn Care & Maintenance

What better way to enjoy your landscape than to let someone else do the dirty work?!?! Select a maintenance plan that will bring out the full potential of your landscape. Green Monster Landscapes provides full maintenance services:

  • Mowing
Green Monster Landscapes has modern commercial mowing equipment capable of mulching, side discharge or collection. Properties are typically mowed on a weekly basis during the height of the growing season, to promote a healthy, vigorous lawn. Areas incapable of being mowed are string trimmed, and the clippings mulched, blown, or collected for a manicured look.
  • Power Aeration & Dethatching
Dethatching removes harmful thatch build-up that can prevent water and vital nutrients from reaching the soil. Dethach your lawn early in the season and get a head-start on your neighbor!

Green Monster Landscapes offers the best option in aeration. A power AERA-vator eliminates unsightly cores, and fractures hard, dry soil without irrigation. Driven tines vibrate in a oscillating motion, penetrating the soil & relieving compaction. The result is improved soil permeability and drainage, and the creation of openings for root growth, and absorption of water, air, and nutrients.
  • Planting Bed Care
As convenient as it may be to prune all your shrubs at once, that's not how we do it. Flowering shrubs are pruned in the fall, so you enjoy maximum color through the spring and summer. Other shrubs are pruned in the spring so that they grow and fill into a perfect specimen. And we don't just hit 'em with the gas pruner either. When necessary, shrubs are selective hand-pruned, to promote a healthy and vibrant plant, then trimmed as needed for the desired shape.

We'll also remulch your beds with the bark mulch of your choice, and apply slow-release fertilizer, transforming your planting beds into true showpieces.
  • Spring & Fall Clean-Up
We can make a clean sweep of your paved driveway to remove winter sand. Winter debris, tree branches, and any fall stragglers can be cleaned from your lawn at the beginning of the season. Plantings beds are covered with fresh mulch in your choice of several available colors.

When the leaves begin to fall, we convert our equipment to collection mode, and vacuum your lawn. Yeah that's right -- vacuum. Our mowers really suck! Our commercial grade equipment leaves your lawn looking like a carpet. Leaves and debris are blown out of planting beds and garden areas, and removed when we mow. After November 1st, final fall clean-ups are scheduled, leaving your lawn ready for spring. Little Wonder blowers and debris loaders are used for final leaf collection. Bags and bags of leaves that could take you several weekends to collect and dispose are removed from your properties in a matter of hours -- if not minutes.
  • Fertilization
Green Monster Landscapes encourages healthy lawns through mulching, fall top dressing, dethatching and aeration. However, a fertilizer can give your lawn the boost needed to make it luxury grade. Our five step fertilization program provides your lawn with a constant diet of necessary nutrients necessary for a healthy, lush lawn.
